HVO Biofuel

We’ve engineered our generators to use HVO biofuel, a clean renewable plant-based energy source that reduces CO2 and other harmful emission by up to 90%.

All Redbox Power and Infinity generators used in our cabins can be run on HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) biofuel conforming to EN 15940 / ASTM D975, one of the world’s purest and greenest fuels.

Using this HVO biofuel rather than traditional diesel (or regular biodiesel) will automatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% and significantly cut other emissions harmful to human health and the health of the planet.

By using plant-based HVO biofuel, you are also not depleting the planet’s finite fossil fuel resources. HVO biofuel is produced from vegetable matter which can be replanted and grown again and again.

If for any reason you are unable to source HVO biofuel at any time, there is no problem with switching back to traditional diesel while necessary. Fuels can be changed and mixed with no risk of damage to the generator engine, and all our generators are fully covered by the Manufacturer’s Warranty whether you use HVO biofuel or traditional diesel.
