Liberty Group, one of the UK’s largest suppliers of site welfare and portable buildings, has chosen Boss Cabins to provide one hundred new mobile cabins at a value of £2.1 million to add to their rapidly-expanding fleet.
The company made a move last week into Scotland launching a new depot just north of Edinburgh and this comes hot on the heels of the opening of their Newcastle facility just a few months ago. To help facilitate this strong growth, Boss Cabins will be supplying a mix of 7-person 12ft units; 12-person 16ft Canteen units; dual-use 16ft Canteen Office units for up to 10 users; plus our largest Canteen Office 24 in both single and twin toilet versions.
The cabins are all fitted with one of Boss Cabins’ energy-saving Eco electrical systems. The Canteen units use the Eco Plus specification which saves an average 33% energy compared to a standard system. While the Canteen Office units have a bespoke Eco Hybrid system which means they can also be heated without the need for generator power, more than halving fuel use and emissions in comparison with a standard system. In addition, each cabin is equipped with a solar panel to charge the battery with free renewable energy during daylight hours.

The first units of this order will be delivered in April and they will distributed to all of Liberty Group’s nine depots around the UK.
