In response to huge customer demand, we’ve had our Boss Cabins engineers working flat out to find a way to fit all the ground-breaking eco-technology of our 24ft and 16ft Deep Green welfare units into a compact and versatile 12ft version.
And now we are delighted to announce that they’ve done it and we’ve welcomed a new 12ft baby to our Deep Green family!
The Deep Green 12 is a towable welfare unit for up to 7 users which combines the exceptional solar capabilities of our 24ft and 16ft Deep Green cabins (which have been operating consistently without the need for generator power for the past 5 months) with a neat size that is convenient and easy to get onto any site.
Like its larger siblings, the Deep Green 12 cabins currently out in the field are running 100% from free renewable solar energy with zero generator runtime, zero fuel costs and zero emissions.
Their performance and status is monitored both in real time and historically via the remote SOLARTrackTM system which gives instant online access 24 hours a day to data on energy consumption and production; generator run times; fuel, water and waste tank levels; geo-location and much more. This information is vital to produce correct environmental reports for investors, local authorities and government bodies, as well as informing ESG and other sustainability reporting scores.
The 12ft 7-person Deep Green Canteen is available as a twin WC or a single WC model with fresh water micro-flush toilets, hot wash hand washes with stainless steel basins and chrome finished no-touch electric hand dryers. The 12ft unit’s clever design even manages to pack in the same Deep Green rain harvesting and water recycling features as our larger units, reducing water consumption and waste production dramatically and cutting the need for service visits by up to 50%.
The Deep Green 12 will appeal to smaller sites or locations who need a compact easily manoeuvrable unit but who are still looking to hit Net Zero and carbon neutral targets.
