We have been dying to release this new product announcement, but have had to keep it under wraps during the final testing stages. Now we are proud to announce the arrival of an incredibly exciting new addition to our sustainable deep green range – GenFree welfare cabins with no generator onboard!
This patent-pending unit is the first mobile welfare cabin in the marketplace in which enough solar energy is generated to power ALL electrical operations effectively though the entire year, meaning no generator is required even for back-up.
We’ve developed the concept using a 12ft unit as we knew this would be the hardest unit to make work with limited space for solar panels and a relatively high user count compared to its size. And we’ve tested it during the darkest winter months when least solar is available.
Although we knew in theory we were onto a winner, in real-life testing, we have been blown away by the results. In one of our biggest R&D investments ever, we built a fleet of 30 x GenFree test cabins which were deployed on key sites around the country with prestige Tier 1 companies.
The results have been phenomenal, with all cabins operating perfectly throughout the winter trial. Couple this with the fact that our standard Deep Green range ran for approx. 9 months of 2022 with no generator runtime even without the additional solar panels and extra energy-saving technology, and we are entirely confident in this game-changing generator-free leap forward in sustainable mobile welfare.
Now we’ve proved the concept with our real-life testing, we’ll be rolling out production of towable GenFree units in all sizes from 12ft up to 24ft and statics. We are so proud to have developed this breakthrough in mobile welfare that moves site welfare ever closer towards a future of zero-fuel and zero-emission operation.
