Here at Boss Cabins, we are keen to support our local community where possible and one way we have been able to achieve this in the past 12 months has been by sponsoring the sports kits for two local children’s football teams, Thurlby Tigers U9s and Deeping United White’s U11s.
“We were approached as the teams were in much need of new kits, with children sometimes relying on ‘hand me downs’ or often wearing ‘mismatched gear’ and straight away we knew we wanted to help.” said Boss Cabins’ Director of Customer Experience Sarah Butcher.
Thurlby Tigers U9’s have 3 dedicated coaches Adam, Nick and Paul who the children train with every Monday night. While Deeping United White’s U11s are managed by our very own Steve Hennessey, a Sustainable Welfare Advisor here at Boss.
Lots of time and effort goes into coaching and training the children as well as spending weekends out with them at home and away matches and we applaud those who give up so much time for free to make sure local children have access to sports.
Steve Hennessey, Manager of Deeping United White’s U11 commented: “Boss Cabins support has made a huge difference to the team. It means everyone is dressed the same and feels part of the club family in their kit and we’re able to continue to keep costs down for the families involved and make being part of the club inclusive for all.”
Sarah Butcher added: “Making a difference to the community is part of our ethos. We also recognise the many benefits participating in sport has for children which is why we’re delighted to offer our support to grassroots sports.
“We are extremely proud to be the shirt sponsor for both Thurlby Tigers U9’s and Deeping United White’s U11’S. It is great to see the players running out proud to be in their matching kits and see them enjoying the sports they love to play.”
